I am currently Solution Offering leader in Deloitte Consulting's Application Modernization practice where I specialize in the business of legacy application migration and modernization. My work is focused cross-industry and cross-geography where I sell and deliver solutions that facilitate our client’s transition to the Cloud supporting their future technology platforms and operating models. Through the use of automation and advanced tool, processes and resources, clients lower cost and risk facilitating leading-edge mobile, cloud, analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and security initiatives.Prior to my current role, I was a leader in Deloitte’s Public Sector practice where I sold, built, and subsequently led key offerings and projects across state government. My specific focus in the last decade was alignment with key government initiatives such as the Affordable Care Act where I was responsible for key organizational and client initiatives across the country.While focused on the public sector, I sold and led key projects in Deloitte’s Health Insurance Exchange practice supporting the nation’s most successful state-based health insurance marketplaces and helping hundreds of thousands of state residents and small business owners compare coverage, apply for tax credits and premium discounts, and enroll in qualified health plans and Medicaid.I am a public speaker, a mentor to our practitioners and supporter and sponsor of Deloitte's community initiatives.

In 2011, I was recruited by the State of Tennessee to lead the Health Information Partnership for Tennessee (HIP-TN), an independent, non-profit organization formed in 2009 whose Board of Directors consisted of healthcare business and government agency leadership from across the state. As CEO, I reported directly to the Board of Directors where we focused at the state level to improve access to health information through a statewide collaborative process enabled via national and state sponsored technology infrastructure.We worked in concert with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), the principal federal entity charged with coordination of nationwide efforts to support the electronic exchange of health information across the US. ONC is organizationally located within the Office of the Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).In support of the ONC’s mission and the State of Tennessee, HIP-TN procured, provided, and implemented services and infrastructure for secure electronic information exchange and use of health information. Our ultimate mission being to bring together stakeholders representing the state’s healthcare providers, health plans, physicians, businesses, and consumers and connecting regional information networks across the state to create a state-wide HIE (health information exchange).

I joined ADAM, a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ in 2009 as Chief Technology Officer where I was responsible for driving overall technology vision across a broad offering of products and services. During my time there, I was responsible for product offering roadmaps and the delivery of key product releases related to industry focused content and content management tools to major media clients such as Google and WebMD and innovative content offerings in the healthcare industry. Additional products included SaaS offerings in the benefits enrollment and administration markets where we provided co-branded, cloud-based employee benefits systems and benefits management platforms to corporations across the US.In support of these offerings, I built and led a world-wide organization responsible for software development, testing and release leveraging cutting-edge development processes and technologies.I was a member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO

I joined Microsoft’s Platform Strategy organization in 2001 to launch .NET, one of the most significant product family releases of the decade. In my role as Platform Evangelist, I was responsible for driving awareness and early adoption of this product and other next generation product innovations cross-industry and cross-geography by targeting the largest businesses in the world as ranked in the Fortune 500. My focus was leveraging businesses, solutions and industry to drive Microsoft server and client platform revenue worldwide.Later in my career, as Director of Business Development, I was responsible for managing several of Microsoft's highest profile global healthcare partners. In my role, I aligned Microsoft's offerings to their best advantage leveraging key products in their product and solution offerings. My responsibilities focused on driving revenue for our partners and generating subsequent influenced revenue for Microsoft at scale.During my career, I had the privilege of speaking at high-profile client and industry briefings and events where I represented Microsoft’s latest innovations in consumer, developer and IT technologies and their alignment with the market. I worked directly with clients across industry and across the world to bring the latest technology platforms and innovations to market for my entire time with the Company.

RSA is a leading underwriter of wholesale specialty insurance and provides insurance to thousands of companies, from non-profit organizations to Fortune 500 firms.I joined the underwriting division of RSA to establish a core software product development strategy and supporting organization for insurance underwriting application and services infrastructure. While there I was also responsible for structuring the complete software development life-cycle process.

JobCostOnline served the construction industry as a Business-to-Business Application Service Provider (ASP) delivering e-commerce applications for the residential and commercial construction marketplace.Led overall product development with P/L responsibility for startup operations leveraging seed and Series A funding. JobCostOnline generated annual revenues consisting of subscription sales, advertising sales, implementation and consulting fees.As the original principal architect of the JobCostOnline solution, also held the position of Chief Technology Officer. Responsible for the implementation and design of a hosted application partner strategy, disaster recovery planning, content distribution planning, research evaluation, and establishing strategic partnerships with third-party vendors to extend the current product offering and augment product offering.

Responsible for the management of the development of a data warehousing and transaction processing solution provided in an ASP environment to national healthcare and insurance providers.
