I am a designer who has a background in customer service, having worked in various customer service roles before my career in design. I believe this foundation has helped me become a better designer who takes a more compassionate approach to problem-solving.My design career began with email (and my innate desire to help customers). Being an #EmailGeek (it's a thing!) taught me how to be resourceful and clever since email forces you to work with many limitations while accommodating to many possible outcomes.This path later allowed me to work on creating websites and web pages, mobile applications, web applications, user interfaces, UX research, and branding with some of the smartest and most inspirational people. As a designer, I've worked on marketing, design, and cross-functional teams.I'm both creative and analytical, and I thrive when I get to be both. I love simplifying complexity, troubleshooting, and coming up with out of the box solutions while collaborating with smart, open-minded people.Outside of work you can find me on adventures with my two awesome kids, playing with my rescue dog, or in the kitchen cooking or baking.
