Tendering, RFQ Process, Log & Material Tracking, Local & International Sourcing, LOI,LPO, Contracts & Amendments, Supplier PQ & Evaluation,KPI, Techno Commercial Comparison,MS Office, Oracle, ERP, Material Submittal Process, • Responsible for the entire vendor selection process starting from MTO till procuring and transferring materials to the site.• Assess all the MTO’s (material take off) and PR’s (purchase requisition) are received from project managers that are related to the MEP works at the site. • Floating the enquiry (RFQ) to the vendors for the materials / services with all related documents like specification, SLD, materials take off. • Evaluating the vendor quotations making comparative analysis document that is related to technical specification, scope of work, price, delivery terms, payment terms and other technical and commercial conditions deemed necessary.• Negotiate with the vendors to bring down the price in order to match the budget and then propose them to the management.• Preparing and placing Letter of Intents and contracts.• Getting the material submittals, Sample boards and submit to the consultants and following up for approvals. • Preparing Letter of Intent, Sub Contract agreement, Supply contract and Purchase Orders after obtaining all the necessary approvals.• Conduct project meetings to schedule and plan deliveries as per site requirements. • Tracking and maintaining materials schedule that has been ordered & to be ordered. (Material or procurement schedule) • Inventory software used – Horizon, Oracle; Commercial tabulation – Microsoft Excel. • Preparation of all documents as per Company policy / Audit requirements.• Cost saving initiatives through alternate sourcing, negotiation and value engineering.• Co-ordination with accounts department for release of L/C and other Payments.• Coordinating with Logistics for the freighting and forwarding agent, to avoid any delays.
