Manage food sales team. Identify key areas of improvement and develop plans to follow through. Responsible for quotation and pricing strategy as well as long term sales goals of rheology and extrusion laboratory equipment in the North America region.Assist customers with the technical side of food extrusion when necessary.

Work in production with twin screw extrusion and walk products through scaling up from R&D to production.

Organize and run product development trials and demos in laboratory scale twin screw extrusion to create snacks, cereals, meat analogs, aquafeed, pet food, pasta, and more. Assist with method development in benchtop dough, starch, and protein rheology and viscometry. Assist with laboratory equipment sales and follow through on in-house sales accounts.

Develop food products as part of the protein applications team including products in extrusion, bars, beverages, and baked products.

Responsible for continuous improvement of extrusion production process and reformulation and modification of existing extruded products for improved quality.

Ph.D. research with a focus on the twin-screw extrusion process. Additional responsibilities include assisting people in the industry with extrusion product development through University extension efforts.
