Roberta held the position of executive vice president and VP of sales and marketing for United Speaker Systems / Phase Technology, a privately held, 50-year-old domestic speaker and OEM-original equipment manufacturer in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Lewis joined Phase Technology in August 2001 and was responsible for domestic and international sales and marketing.

Ms. Lewis served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Los Angeles based Knowledglinks, Inc., d.b.a. www.getplugged.com, the company pioneered Internet B2B2C specialty consumer electronics marketing. As a collaborative Internet marketing portal, the company provided channel-market solutions for manufacturers, suppliers and their dealers, offering turnkey online marketing management, customer referrals, and online sales.

Ms. Lewis was elected and served as president of the Professional Audio/Video Retailers Association (PARA) with over 500 U.S. retail business members from 1998-1999, and prior to that served as the group's vice president (1997-98). Lewis was the first and only woman to serve as president. CEA (Consumer Electronic Association), now CTA acquired PARA in 2010, now known as AVR Audio-Video Retailer Division of CEA.

Ms. Lewis spent the first 19 years of her career at Texas-based Home Entertainment, Inc., a 40-year-old, privately held specialty A/V retail chain with seven specialty electronics stores in Houston and Dallas. She served as vice president from 1991-1996 and president from 1997-1999. Home Entertainment, Inc. was consistently ranked a top ten retailer by Audio Video International and highly regarded by the industry as the dominant dealership in both Houston and Dallas. When the Tweeter Home Entertainment Group acquired Home Entertainment in 1999, Lewis and her management team had grown sales from $8 million to $25 million in just eight years. Tweeter Home Entertainment Group appointed Lewis as vice president over the Texas Region, as well as national custom installation manager for the $300 million dollar chain.
