As the Flight Operations Manager I am responsible for the supervision of flight operations conducted in Hilo to include the operating of aircraft within the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operating procedures, operations specifications, and the operating limits of the aircraft as provided in the approved Rotorcraft Flight Manuals (RFMs). Major responsibilities include the supervision of Hilo flight crew, ensuring policy adherence, disseminating applicable information and publications, and maintaining proficiency as pilot in command.

Helicopter Line Pilot responsible for the safe execution of daily helicopter operations in an area of dense air traffic and dynamic weather conditions. Responsible for conducting direct daily interface with customers, implementing time critical risk management decisions and taking immediate action in order to directly impact customer satisfaction and safety.

UH-1N/Y Instructor Pilot. Qualified in the Bell UH-1N and UH-1Y helicopters as a weapons training officer, terrain flight instructor, basic instruct pilot, instrument evaluator, and flight lead. Conducted helicopter operations in a variety of roles from training to combat operations in Iraq, anti-piracy operations off the Horn of Africa and Search and Rescue in South Korea.-Unit Personnel and Family Readiness Program manager, Public Affairs Officer. Responsible for the financial accounts of the squadron, to include fund raising and event planning for all formal and informal functions. Ensured the personnel and family readiness of each Marine and Sailor in the unit through resource management and connecting individuals with resources available to suit their requirements. -Logistics Manager while deployed with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Okinawa Japan. Coordinated and supervised the loading and unloading of equipment, personnel and aircraft aboard Amphibious Readiness Group Shipping, the USS Denver and the USS Bonhomme Richard for deployment operations throughout the pacific region. -Aviation Maintenance Division Manager, Hazardous Materials Program Manager. Officer-In-Charge of the H-1 Airframes Division, Aviation Life Support Division, Tool Room Work Center, Corrosion Control and Hazardous Materials Work Center. Managed the Hazardous waste Site Accumulation Site for the squadron. Successfully prepared the squadron for multiple deployments throughout the Pacific Theater of Operations. Directly managed, mentored and trained over a hundred Marines within the Department from career progression to personnel financial management. -Current and Future Operations Supervisor, responsible for the planning and execution of daily flight operations to include training syllabus for junior pilots and operational tasking from adjacent agencies.

As an enlisted Marine Corps Infantry Scout became extremely proficient at Multi-Sensor Reconnaissance and ground based heavy weapons employment. Designated as a team leader in charge of nine Marines for the conduct of tactical day and night operations.
