Product Quality Assurance Manager
CurrentThis position's responsibility is to identify, control, and mitigate the risks of nonconforming hardware products from reaching customers and to ensure all products moving through PAR meet expected company standards. For nonconforming products that do reach our customers, this position will work with interdepartmental teams of Subject Matter Experts to identify, contain, and resolve issues in an expedient manner.• Establish quality assurance processes, standards, and procedures for products and ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance when required.• Assess potential risks related to product quality and develop strategies to mitigate and manage those risks by monitoring and evaluating product quality throughout the product lifecycle and developing corrective action plans when required. Coordinate testing and inspection procedures to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.• Collaborate with procurement to establish quality requirements for suppliers and vendors and monitor their compliance with those requirements.• Continuously analyze processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and product quality.• Provide training and guidance to employees on quality assurance standards, procedures, and best practices. Encourage a culture of quality within the organization through training and awareness programs.• Work with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis of quality issues to identify and implement corrective actions.
