Represented developers and contractors in all phases of the construction process, including contract negotiation, preparation and review, as well as in disputes as to payment, performance, delay, interruption and inefficiency. Also represented sureties in transactions and disputes relating to contractor defaults on public and private works construction projects.

Represented and advised insurers in complex insurance coverage matters pertaining to construction, commercial transactions, environmental liability, and intellectual property.Published Decision: Street Surfing, LLC v. Performed a month long contract assignment for BP U.S. and a long-term contract assignment at Tressler LLP before accepting a permanent position at the firm.

Represented sureties and contractors in all phases of litigation and transactions pertaining to public works, commercial and residential construction projects. • Primary file-handling responsibility for litigation involving contract and commercial surety bonds and construction disputes.• Negotiated settlements and drafted agreements pertaining to settlement, takeover and completion, financing and collateral security. • Served as Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer of the Surety Claims Association of Los Angeles.

Involved in all aspects of complex surety, construction, business, and insurance coverage litigation, including written discovery, depositions, legal research and writing, law and motion, settlement negotiation, trial and appeal.
