Senior Back-End Web Developer
CurrentLead the team to develop and implement the SaaS web application for the school management platform, following the Agile Methodology Scrum, with emphasis on effective requirements management, scalability of computing resources and multi-tenant functionality while fostering open communication and knowledge-share among teammates.- Using test-driven development in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3 with RDBMS PostgreSQL, and managed background job processing with Sidekiq and Redis; Additionally, integrating third-party APIs provider like Sendgrid for transactional emails.- Set up, integrate and maintain the platform between Amazon Web Services and Digital Ocean using services like AWS S3, Amazon Route 53 (DNS), Amazon CloudFront (CDN), as well as, Custom servers (Droplets) with Web Server Nginx through Phusion Passenger application server, Load Balancers installed in GNU/Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu and Debian.- Design and implement RESTful APIs with Ruby On Rails adding token-based authentication with JSON Web Tokens (JWT).- Proactively involved in the basic maintenance of the Android Mobile Application.- Responsible in code reviews, and managed the version-control system using GIT.
