With operational control under Open Access Ventures, I’ve taken on the role of CEO and Managing Director to drive the launch and growth of MattressIQ (MIQ), a key portfolio company. MIQ is transforming mattress care in the hospitality industry through occupancy data and machine-learned insights, focusing on sustainability, reducing operational costs, and enhancing guest experiences by extending mattress lifespans. I’m responsible for guiding strategic direction, leading the team, and building key partnerships to scale our innovation and expand our impact.

After stepping in as CEO, I successfully led Koru through a strategic transition, ultimately guiding the company to a private exit with Open Access Ventures. Under my leadership, Koru’s AI-powered platform continued to grow, and now, as part of the Open Access portfolio, it will further advance sustainability and innovation in partnership management.

Jon Oscar Watches was created to offer a high quality yet affordable watch to the modern gentleman. As a startup consultant, I helped design the watches, build the brand and orchestrated a successful launch in Sweden after nearly two years of R&D targeting the European market. Production included meeting and vetting manufacturers in Shenzhen and Italy, then navigating international production collaboration. Since launch, company has seen steady growth and have secured notable wholesale clients in central Stockholm.

Founded Be Robin Hood, a charitable and sustainable clothing brand and marketplace to provide an online location for ethical and altruistic products. Sales in 40+ states have funded a variety of social impact causes such including providing over 2,000 days of clean water, removing over 150 pounds of trash from US waterways, providing over 300 meals to children in need, and more. In addition to responsibilities continuing from my previous fellowship, I now solely manage the operational components of Pact's Open Innovation Platform, assist our Capacity Development team implementing innovation strategy into project work, research opportunities for adaptation of new technologies with a focus on A.I. for social impact, and provide assistance to other global Pact projects in our 30+ country offices.

Since the creation of the Innovation team 6 years ago, Innovation’s role at Pact has become more centralized and institutionalized. The Innovation department has significantly expanded its services and responsibilities and now provides dedicated technical assistance to HQ staff plus 30 country offices. As an Innovation Fellow working within this department, I provide critical support to the Innovation team primarily through project coordination, design research, and innovation management. This includes technology platforms, process improvements and monitoring and evaluation assistance with my principal objective being the support, implementation, front-end user testing and piloting of a new Open Innovation Management platform in both DC and select Pact Country Offices.

AirView Creative was born from the demand for a high value and cost-effective option for aerial videography. We focus on real estate, golf courses, and advertising promos. With several pilots working under our name, we have shot projects in Florida, Tennessee, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Canada.

As a business & marketing consultant, I worked directly with the two founders to ensure their branding, advertising, and marketing efforts were all at a superior level when the company was launched. From video production, to label design, the vision of Passionut (Barenut) is to make your mouth water but also keep your body nourished and healthy. Taste and health can finally coexist.

Trial Presentation Specialists are experts at enhancing any trial presentation through the use of technology. Prior to trial, a Presentation Specialist will construct an organized database of all important documents so that they can be easily accessed when needed. During the trial, the Presentation Specialist operates software and audio/visual equipment to display the documents, graphics, or videos for the case. We are a valuable member of the trial team whose skill and experience provide a seamless presentation of exhibits and evidence during the trial.Trial graphics and illustrations significantly increase a jury’s understanding of complex information. We understand the unique aspects of presentation in the courtroom, and how the right visual aid can make a difference in how a juror perceives the evidence. Due to years of experience and understanding what is successful, our team knows the colors, fonts, and the overall design of graphics and illustrations that best influence jurors at key moments during the trial. Trial Graphics and demonstrative evidence should aid in the storytelling side of the case. The colors, content, size, and orientation of graphics should be consistent with the themes of the case. Graphics should communicate a simple message that is quickly and easily understood. Our team of Graphic Designers possess the imagination and skill to plan and construct visual aids that are not only creative, but are persuasive at trial.

My job was to create and demonstrate effective social media tools such as blogging, community development, social media accounts on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, WorldPress, etc. I am able to create comprehensive social media strategies to define social media programs that increase visibility, membership, and social media traffic. I worked with clients, other companies, and internal staff to better the marketing for our company and help out with various projects throughout the way.

I worked on various projects which included designing various items used on web pages (both stand alone and Facebook) and other marketing materials for our customers (invitations, brochures, tee shirts, etc.). I primarily used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for most of my projects. I worked primarily on my own, but was part of a remote team which was coordinated from their offices.
