CurrentA 200 ton USCG merchant marine holder and been approved for my 500 ton license which I am currently studying for. Have STCW, MROP, TWIC, and advanced fire fighting certification. Over 108k miles and 3300 days plying the waters from Alaska down the west coast to panama canal, east coast, carribean, and hawaii. 8 pacific crossings on power and sail, monohull and multihull.Grew up as a sailor and sailboat racer and have commercial fished with my uncle and on boats up in Alaska. Since 2015 I have operated a delivery business of sailboats and power yachts. Created all my tools like, estimate tool, contract, float plan, delivery laptop with coastal explorer, AIS transponder, immersion suits, EPIRB, etc.Mechanical Engineer from Oregon State University, and have worked in multiple boat yards and ship yards. Having been on over 600 boats I become familiar with almost all electronics packages and seen all types of pump, refrigeration, generators, main engines, gear boxes, and water makers. Worked at ship yard where I project managed the build of a tier 4 130 tractor tug.I have run and managed charter and private boats in Alaska, Boston, New York, and in the Caribbean. Have a can-do attitude very presentable and professional, physically fit, no tattoos or piercings. Can hire and manage crew, perform logistics, float plans, itineraries, and provisioning, and flipping a boat.I am a big time fisherman, having fished recreational and commercially over my marine career. I carry hand lines, rods and reals when delivering and working on boats. I make my own hand lines, skirts, and plugs. Have caught many palegics in the open seas.I am a certified drone pilot and have a DJI air 3 drone. Created video and image compositions for customers on their vacations on boats using my drone and production software.
