Over 35 years of marine experience.After acquiring my BSME at Oregon State University worked in product design for 2 years on large Hyster forklifts. Then went to HP designing manufacturing solutions for circuit boards for HP deskjet printers. Within two years I had the opportunity to be retrained into software development, which led me to print driver development for emerging appliances. Main efforts were centered on digital imaging solutions on cell phones and pda's, and other appliance type devices. Towards the end of my HP career I was offered a program manager position designing enterprise solutions for front end sales teams.2006 tried my hand at different things such as corporate purchasing and then manufacturing engineering at Noah Preicision, LLC. In 2007 I ended up at Micropump for exciting opportunities in gear pump developement for various types of solutions.Current goal is to finish my Master Degree in Technology Management at Portland State University and to futher expand my capabilities and contributions at Micropump in Vancouver, WA. Hopefully I will continue to expand services and help customers in my consulting company in software, hardware desing and in other IT and imaging areas. Continue to pursue my marine opportunities on my Laser, big boats, my 18ft Avon, Coast Guard captain licensing & US Sailing PRO certification. Over 108k miles and 3300 days plying the waters from Alaska down the west coast to panama canal, east coast, carribean, and hawaii. 8 pacific crossings on power and sail, monohull and multihull.Grew up as a sailor and sailboat racer and have commercial fished with my uncle and on boats up in Alaska.
