Second in command of Detroit Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), responsible for the processing of applicants for service into all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. Responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of all aspects of applicant processing to include ASVAB and special testing, medical processing, and legal or moral processing. Tracks, compiles, and reports processing data to higher headquarters. Advises the command on all elements of applicant processing. Communicates with MEPS staff, Service Liaisons, and Recruiting Commands to ensure effective coordination of processing efforts and strict adherence to processing standards. Responsible for the professional development and well-being of 22 Department of Army Civilians and three Enlisted Service Members.
