I am passionate about challenges, technology, and software usability. I have a strong technological and business background, resulting from many years of experience with start-ups and my interest in technology and software product development teams.After my engineering studies, I began my professional career in Munich (Germany) as a technology consultant at Siemens AG.Years later, I participated in the founding of BuntPlanet in San Sebastián (Spain), where I was COO/CTO and a member of the board of directors.I have led software development teams and the creation of software-based products for different sectors since 2002.Since 2016, I have directed the development of the BuntBrain software platform for the water sector, as well as numerous implementations of the BuntBrain platform in different countries and continents.In December 2023, Siemens acquired BuntPlanet. Currently, I lead the development of several Siemens software products for the water sector (Siemens SIWA platform). I am very happy to be part of the Siemens family again.
