Worked on project to convert and configure fixed assets in Oracle for the Federal Tax book. Supported Oracle Fixed Asset books for the Corporate Tax Dept. and all portions of the Federal Income Tax return related to fixed assets -- depreciation, gain/loss on sale of assets, and acquisitions. Later worked on the conversion of fixed assets into Bloomberg BNA Fixed Assets and the implementation and configuration of this fixed asset software solution. Involves having a strong understanding of tax laws related to tax depreciation and the handling of all transactions related to fixed assets.
