Responsible for the program management of large public private consortia in research data infrastructure (IMI BIGPICTURE), acute stroke research (CONTRAST) and AI in drug development (Oncode Accelerator AI platform). Involved in building the successful Health-RI National Growth Fund application (69M EUR).Together with the team I handle strategic and day-to-day operations and drive the partnerships. We ensure effective governance and inclusive decision making, and provide efficient project management. All efforts focused towards the success of the partnership. Lygature is a not-for-profit organization based in the Netherlands. It drives the development of new medical solutions for patients by managing public-private partnerships involving academia, industry and society. Every day, Lygature brings together people in many different disciplines and organizations – to pioneer solutions in medical technology and pharmacotherapy, and to serve patients worldwide.

I aimed to identify novel pathways of lysine methylation signaling during DNA-replication by using cell biology, biochemistry and proteomics approaches.

Transcription can be regulated via post-translational modifications on histone proteins. We study the readers and writers of these different modifications with the focus on the MLL complexes. By using biochemical assays we try to elucidate the function of these proteins in transcription regulation and tumor development.

As part of the Marketing and Communication department of the Faculty of Earth- and Lifesciences I was involved in organizing open-door days and visits to high schools. We setup practicals for high school kids to get them enthousistic for science.
