I work for myself, supplying operational, supply chain and logistics support, in multiple areas, on an interim, project, contract or consultancy basis.In the last 5 years I have worked with the following :• Bestway Retail – Crewe & Newcastle Under Lyme – initially interim support as the head of the logistics function. Providing leadership to 300+ staff in the logistics function, establishing strategic plans, compliance auditing, establishing specific KPI & financial reports, improvement upon customer service & reduction in costs, with critical seasonal peaks being delivered.• Secondly, I project managed the closure of an operational site and movement of the full confectionary operation into a live refurbished site – this was delivered ahead of time, below cost, with nil customer disruption• DHL/Morrisons Bury -Supporting a new start up for DHL as the contract undertook a faster than expected operational implementation.• Conviviality Retail - Interim general management, project and continuous improvement support, for a team of circa 375 logistics personnel, managing 60 + vehicles via 4 out-bases delivering nationally. Re- establishing basic operating procedures, liaising with the sales, marketing & commercial depts. to develop the operational profile & preparing the operation for a full ERP implementation.• DHL Liverpool – Interim General management cover for a large multi-user site delivering peak season for FMCG customers and undertaking a blue-chip customer implementation and a successful BRC audit.• DHL SCA contract– Supporting a customer project to alter the delivery profile.• DHL Skelmersdale – Project managing the implementation of 20k additional locations into a multi contract site, whilst implementing 2 customers - maintaining service and working to MHRA standards.• Bibby Distribution – supporting a Network operation review and identifying improvement. • Polfab UK – Business development & Supply Chain support.
