Setting up and leading a niche, legal, head-hunting business, placing partners in small and medium-sized law firms in the North of England. Another arm of the business was building and forming strategic partnerships between different law firms.

I set up from scratch a search and selection recruitment business called Crossley House Recruitment Ltd., which specialised in middle and senior management roles in the food, healthcare and engineering manufacturing sectors. The business grew significantly and opened a southern office in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire to enable the business to work on a national basis.In 1998, the business was acquired and became part of Quantica prior to its floatation. I was then the main board director responsible for operations across all twelve of the Quantica Group operating companies, which were a mix of specialist recruitment and training companies.

Responsible for ten regional offices from Leeds to Liverpool and from Newcastle to Sheffield. Involved in the recruitment of permanent and temporary staff, with particular emphasis on engineering and sales positions.
