I have extensive knowledge of contemporary music, from obscure electronica through to dance music. I am a music blogger, previously running a highly respected and award winning weekly podcast show - ELECTRONIC EXPLORATIONS. The podcast provided the first publicly subscribe-able splash from artists way before any national radio, artists such as James Blake, Mount Kimbie, FaltyDL, Airhead, MPIA3 (AKA Overmono), Dadub, Scuba, Akkord, Pearson Sound, Hessle Audio, TRG, 2562 and many more.Interviewed live on Mary Anne Hobbs BBC Radio 1 show for recognition of bringing exciting and unique contemporary music to the ears of hundreds of thousands of listeners either by promoting them on my own show or by advising and introducing new and exciting artists to Mary Anne herself or her team at Radio 1. Through my work on BBC Radio 1 and my podcast series I was employed by the world famous London super club fabric to help set-up their brand new art-led label in February 2013 as head of A&R. Within 8 months of setting up Houndstooth, XLR8R have included the label in 'Labels We Love'. A week later and Resident Advisor have made Houndstooth "Label of the Month" for October 2013, the 1st label to achieve this feat within it's 1st year of trading.
