• Design complex survey instruments used to collect data on business related topics and programming the online surveys for fielding using online survey software (DatStat)• Review sampling methodology and determine the most effective approach to surveying members and nonmembers, and keeping response rates at acceptable levels by developing incentive strategies.• Solicit information from SHRM Expertise Panels to seek input on survey projects, as well as internal staff including the Internal Survey Committee and other SHRM departments.• Manage all aspects of data integrity including data collection processes, performing data quality controls including cleaning, coding and preparing the data for analysis. The incumbent has decision-making authority over issues of data integrity and analysis.• Determine and execute detailed analysis plans that will require statistical tests • Analyze and interpret the data, creating tables and figures, and produce written reports based on conclusions drawn from sound empirical research. • Work with internal departments to disseminate survey results/products. Serve as a liaison to media affairs by working closely with Public Affairs to disseminate survey results/products through press releases to media and other appropriate external groups which may include dialoguing with the media.• Collaborate with the Marketing department to market survey products.• Work with outside organizations, vendors and/or academics.• Work on special projects that require development and retention of survey panels Compiling survey data,• Serve as a quantitative subject matter expert for the organization by providing guidance to other SHRM departments on surveys designed for internal and external use. • Develop documents and collaboratively working to improve processes associated with various survey and research projects. • Respond to member and non-member inquiries regarding SHRM research.

Plan, organize, and conduct several survey designs and analysis, educational programs, and specialized publications for the industry association, Worldwide ERC®. Works on a variety of special projects and provides corporate members with a variety of services, including the following: • Create, conduct, and issue industry surveys, operate numerous software programs to gather and analyze data, categorizes and summarize results for developing industry reports• Organize taskforces for maintaining and updating industry standards, tools, and resources. • Organize meetings to discuss current industry standards, capture and incorporate any industry modifications from taskforce members, designs new forms in web compatible format, conducts beta testing, develops user guides• Promote new industry standards: develops release strategies, organizes workshops, and creates presentations, webinars, training materials• Prepare department for national conferences and training events: prepares materials, staffs registration and exhibit booths, facilitates sessions• Manage association’s online tools for real estate agents and corporate members: statistical information, reports, training and educational resources, FAQs• Maintain online policy libraries: domestic and international reports, surveys, policies, sample requests for proposals (RFPs), popular research articles, fact sheets, industry statistics• Monitor members’ discussion forums. A membership tool that directs members to available resources pertaining to discussions specific industry topics. Identify and summarizes popular discussions for monthly membership newsletter• Respond to member inquiries, coordinating responses with other departments as needed• Identify current industry trends and develops articles and charts for monthly corporate magazine• Participate on internal working groups for organizational improvement
