Who We AreFrogtown Hobbies was created in the summer of 2012 by two long-time friends, Rob Coffman and James Fox, who met while playing the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering in 1998. James, the son of a hobby shop owner, and Rob, a competitive player in the local and regional scene, aimed to create an online experience that combined their many years playing and interacting in the industry with the needs of gamers from across the country. Just as the games themselves had forged the friendship between James and Rob, they were eager to give back to the gaming community and welcome players of all ages to share and enjoy their favorite collectible card games, board games, and miniatures. Primarily sold windows and doors to contractors and builders in Northwest Ohio. However, I tended to look at it on a much broader spectrum. I worked closely on home building or remodeling projects with homeowners, builders and architects alike. On the other spectrum I developed a wide connection of contractors and builders in the area that were very successful with selling Pella products to the homeowner and would simply send me plans so I could quote them quickly as possible.I really enjoyed taking what some look at as an expensive and cumbersome process and turned it into building their ideal living space while framing their view to the world (with budget in mind, of course). I pride myself on my professional approach and I have had a lot of success up-selling many homeowners to a package that gives them a better return on their investment and overall happiness with the project.
