As Project Engineer, I have been seconded to a number of organisations, gaining invaluable technical experience and knowledge, and working with a multiplicity of people. I have been providing general QA and Engineering support for PPS . Within this period I carried out the following duties;Acting as Project Engineer for the execution and completion of additional Sapperton AGI Earthing and CP works for the Wormington to Sapperton Pipeline Project, including site installation, testing and project completion. Quality Engineer for the River Eden Gas Pipeline Diversion Project and the Feeder 28 Drainage Remediation ProjectFurther development of PPS IMS systems and preparation for the follow up Achillies UVDB Verify audit.

On a part time basis I was carrying out quality management duties and providing general support to a variety of personnel including the SHEQ Managers, Project Engineer and the Project Management Personnel.Main responsibilities included;Setting up of the integrated management system for the project including Document Control and SHEQ management.Providing IT support when requiredDevelopment of Quality Management Plans including Inspection & Test plans.Technical Writing – method statements, procedures, risk assessments for a wide variety of operationsAssisting with production, collation and approval of weld proceduresMaintenance of welder qualifications registerMonitoring of welding consumables and certificationCollation of calibration certificate and maintenance of registersAssisting with project internal auditing and attending external ISO certification & Achilles audits as requiredCollation of Test End Packages to E56 SpecificationAssisting Project Engineer with Hydrostatic Testing Management of Project Handover Documentation (WWU – RE/19) including liaison with the client for Data book approval, identifying sources & streams of information, managing the collation of the documentation from all Departments of the Project Team.

I have been providing general QA and Engineering support for PPS on a part-time basis since the finalisation of the Wormington to Sapperton Pipeline Project. Within this period I carried out the following duties;Document control and management of final project handover documentation for the Wormington to Sapperton Pipeline Project.Production of project tender documentation for the Llanwrin to Dolgellau Pipeline Project.Production of documentation and on-site assistance for the additional Sapperton AGI Earthing and CP works.Resolution of administration and documentation issues concerning Welder Qualification records and validation of handover documentation for the Holford Gas Storage Project.Further Development of PPS IMS Systems to enable a highly successful Achillies UVDB Verify audit.

I was originally seconded to PPS Pipeline Systems to assist with production of method statements to enable construction to start, and then continued to assist the Engineering & Quality Departments as required. My responsibilities include but are not limited to;Production of all project method statements, procedures, risk assessments for all construction operations, including ‘best practice’ methodologies. Maintenance of project schedules, drawing management, and management of temporary works inspections.Production & management of RE/18 commissioning packages.Management of project handover documentation.

I was seconded to Spiecapag UK to assist with initial start-up of the project which included;Reviewing of Tender documents and identification of project soft deliverables.Production of Method Statements and Risk Assessments.Production of Management PlansManagement of submission and approval process.Liaison with subcontractors to identify document requirements and approval process.

I was seconded to Spiecapag UK initially to assist with start up documentation but furthered my involvement in the project and provided general QA/QC & Engineering support. Responsibilities included;Production of Method Statements and Risk Assessments, Management of submission and approval process, Initial Document Control Set up and Management, Management of Sub-Contractors, including Designers, surveyors, CP, Desk based Engineering, inc. production of Schedules, MTO’s, etc, Management of Technical Queries, Liaison with client on design and engineering issues.
