Offender Services & Reintegration (OSR) within Corrections Victoria (CV) collaborates with other stakeholders in the movement of people in custody through the system and for reducing reoffending by assessing risk to inform case management, intervention pathways and delivery of programs and services that engage people in custody in positive behavioural change. OSR also ensure that programs are delivered to the highest standards and to maintain best practice across Corrections Victoria. The Case Management Team within OSR contributes to community safety by developing, implementing and supporting evidence-based case management and risk assessment and associated quality assurance. The Case Management Team provides oversight of CV’s risk assessment processes and case management practices to provide an integrated response across the corrections system. My role, The Manager, Prisoner Case Management ensures the integrity and application of the Offender Management Framework through the provision of quality assurance, competency-based training, and other developmental opportunities to custodial staff across Corrections Victoria. A primary responsibility of the role is developing and coaching the Offender Management Supervisors, and through them, offender management practices at all prison locations across the State.
