• Information Manager & BIM Coordinator:As information manager and BIM coordinator, the project support work will include the following typical responsibilities that are carried out on live projects throughout the UK. model review, CDE management, COBie data checking, model coordination, clash coordination.• BIM Consultant:As BIM consultant the responsibilities will not necessarily be conducted on a live project but will involve the delivery of services to upskill, document or identify services to support the delivery of BIM level 2 project. This includes documentation creation, training and workflow review.

The role also involves managing several projects which aim to improve the technical support for the cladding material portfolio. • One of the main projects was the further development of BIM content using an existing partner based in Sweden to provide a solution that can be used at an international level but also be flexible enough to but adjustable for local regions.• During this time, I was involved in an Etex BIM group tasked with implementation of a European BIM solution for our range of roofing products.• Providing internal technical training to our cladding sales, technical and marketing teams for mainly European countries. • Day to day technical support provided for all technical teams mainly in Europe but also on an international level.• Technical projects which I was involved in during my time with Etex include the development of tools for architects to aid them at each stage of the design process when designing facades. This involved many face to face meeting and focus groups with architects from across Europe to understand what is needed to support them at each stage of the design process when using rain-screen cladding materials. Research and development projects to test and develop new ancillary materials to further improve the range of materials offered by Etex.

Marley Eternit is the industries foremost innovator for over a century offering roofing materials and rainscreen systems, materials range from concrete and clay roof tiles, fibre cement slates and profiled sheets to fibre cement rainscreen facades and building boards.My role at Marley Eternit has evolved significantly during my employment. I am now the sole BIM lead for the entire company.Training• Provide training to others –both internal and external learners for BIM.• Provide training seminar for Rainscreen Façade products to sub contractors, specifiers and distributors.Technical Support• Provide technical advice and guidance to range of roofing and facade materials both internally to area sales managers, customer services advisors and also to clients varying from end users to contractors and specifiers.• Working knowledge of current British Standards and Building Regulations in particular relating to roofing and cladding sector.Scheduling and Specifications • Production of National Building Specifications, from surveys carried out in-house and independently and drawings for proposed work to new projects.• Take off and scheduling for the entire building envelope using Marley Eternit products, for a diverse range of complex and basic projects throughout the UK. • Production of standard 2D CAD details and bespoke detailing for individual projects.BIM• Steering group member for the BIM4M2 group, BIM for manufacturers and manufacturing.
