UGL Kentz JV were awarded the MEC-1 package, which includes project management, procurement, construction, and commissioning support services, for installation of the 2 LNG Process Trains, and the Inlet Facilities. The Scope of Works includes the installation of stick-built steel structures and piping, and mechanical equipment (vessels, columns, internals, externals, and packaged equipment). It also includes hook-up and tie-in of modules and piping systems, NDT and pressure testing, assisting with heavy lifts, pre-commissioning, and equipment preservation. Core role responsibilities include (but are not limited to): • Commissioning of new equipment including mechanical seals, couplings, pumps, process systems and sub-systems, as well as the removal, installation, preservation and inspection of pipe spools, valves, blinds, spades and RO plates, and the accurate reading, interpretation and checking of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s)• Displaying visible safety leadership via diligent compliance to all HSE policies and procedures, identifying and controlling hazards, conducting ad-hoc safety interactions to raise safety awareness, advising on preventative measures, and preparing, reviewing, maintaining, and updating JHA’s, SWMS’s, Take 5’s • Planning, scheduling, and coordinating with cross-functional work groups (encompassing multiple crews) to ensure an integrated approach to project tasks, and responding appropriately to changing work fronts and/or scope of work• Designing, planning, and performing isolations, and working strictly within site PTW and LOTO systems and procedures • Flange management (blot tensioning and torqueing), maintenance of torqueing and tensioning tooling• Pressure and hydro-pneumatic testing.

Wheatstone Lng Project

BAM Clough was awarded a contract by Bechtel to design and construct the Product Loading Facility (PLF) and Tug Berths, as part of the Wheatstone LNG project. The Scope of Works comprised a 1.2km jetty with marine operations platform, and product loading platform incorporating a single LNG and condensate load-out berth, with breasting and mooring dolphin structures. Core role responsibilities included (but were not limited to):• Maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of concrete and grout pumps, compressors, counter leaver bridge, jack up and floating barges, pedestal cranes (up to 400tonne), crawler cranes (up to 600tonne), JLG EWP’s, Manitou’s, bobcat and JCB telehandlers, generators, light towers, trucks, LV’s and ancillary equipment• Leading by example regarding HSE compliance, preparing and reviewing JHA’s, Take 5’s, SWMS’s, conducting safety interactions, sharing ideas, and encouraging the development of continuous improvements to further mitigate risks• Installation of pipe spools, valves, blinds and spades, pressure and hydro-pneumatic testing, commissioning of various new equipment, and the accurate reading, interpretation and checking P&ID’s• Planning maintenance schedules, coordinating effectively with multi-discipline work groups, and maintaining stock levels • Performing, confirming, and removing isolations, and ensuring compliance with PTW and LOTO systems and procedures• Flange management (blot tensioning and torqueing), and the maintenance of torqueing and tensioning tooling

Glng Curtis Island

Santos GLNG hired Bechtel to design and build an LNG processing facility on Curtis Island. The huge plants now produces LNG for use by Australian and Asian customers, and the construction program was part of the largest concentration of private-capital investment in Australia’s history. Core role responsibilities included (but were not limited to):• Maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of concrete and grout pumps, compressors, CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, earthmoving machinery, JLG EWP’s, Manitou, Bobcat and JCB telehandlers, crawler cranes, LR to MC rated trucks, light vehicles, generators, light towers and ancillary equipment, as well as torqueing and tensioning tooling• Providing training, technical guidance and mentoring for young Apprentices, and leading by example with regards to safety compliance, and overall positive work attitude.

Gladstone

• Maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, earthmoving machinery, LR to MC rated trucks, and light vehicles on various sites and in the workshop, and maintenance of torqueing and tensioning tooling• Providing breakdown maintenance support for winches, cranes, and various other mobile and fixed plant for McConnell Dowell Joint Venture (MCJV), on the Narrows Crossing pipe pull, as part of the Curtis Island LNG projects• Coordinating major overhaul projects for a range of heavy machinery, assisting with quotes for major projects, and providing supervision, mentoring and training for Apprentices• NB: For this and all roles below, maintaining the highest levels of HSEQ compliance, analysing jobs prior to starting work to remove or control hazards, and seeking opportunities to improve systems and processes, so-as to have a positive impact on the overall safety of people and equipment, has always been paramount.

• Maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of loaders (CAT, Hyundai and Komatsu), excavators (Komatsu, CAT and Hitachi), CAT 740 dump trucks, CAT dozers (D6, D7 and D9), HR trucks, mobile crushing and screening plants, and various types of fixed plant • Safe and efficient operation of various sized moxy’s, excavators, loaders and dozers.Operating Moxys, Excavators, Loaders and Dozers as required.

• Recruitment, selection and management of team members, delegating tasks, supervising performance and ensuring high standards of workmanship, and providing fit-for-purpose training and technical guidance• Business planning, marketing and execution, estimating and quoting on contracts and projects, planning and scheduling projects, and delivering maintenance schedules for machines and equipment• Creating and maintaining business-beneficial relationships customers and sub-contractors.

• Pressure and hydro-pneumatic testing, as well as the overhaul, assembly and testing of valves, and accurately documenting all test procedures for quality compliance (QC) requirements • As above with regards to management of personnel to ensure quality delivery of scoped projects• Site fitting, installation and/or maintenance of pipes, pumps, pipe spools, motors, equipment bases, and fixed plant• Developing solid relationships with internal and external interfaces including peers, direct reports, and clients• Reading and interpreting P&ID’s and technical project specifications, and overseeing schedule and budget • Flange management (blot tensioning and torqueing), maintenance of torqueing and tensioning tooling• Performing, confirming and removing isolations, working safely within site PTW and LOTO systems• Estimating and quoting on contracts and projects, and maintaining relevant industry contacts.

• Maintenance of pumps, pipe spools, motors, torqueing and tensioning tooling, equipment bases, laser lining, and various fixed plant at petrochemical sites around Central Queensland (CQ), and leadership accountabilities as per the above• Pipe fitting and installations, flange management, pressure and hydro-pneumatic testing, overhaul, assembly and testing of valves and documenting for QC, interpreting P&ID’s, and performing isolations, PTW and LOTO procedures.
