• Management of a portfolio of c30 complex Real Estate relationships, each with borrowing facilities of £1m-£20m, • Responsible for residential and commercial investment property lending, residential property development, and some commercial development lending where pre-lets/pre-sales in place.• Effective relationships developed with customers and a network of brokers/introducers.• Strong emphasis on risk assessment and credit quality, ensuring loan structures appropriate, documentation correct, valuations and monitoring surveyors’ reports properly evaluated, and legal due diligence completed to ensure compliance with governance standards• Wide range of clients, including many offshore SPV companies. Ensured compliance with AML/KYC compliance procedures

• Management of a wide-ranging portfolio of c90 SME customers, predominantly of Asian origin• Involved in the sale of commercial lending products, with referral to appropriate product specialists where appropriate e.g. invoice finance, trade finance, hedging, asset finance, etc • Networking with professionals and customers to generate switcher acquisitions

• Relationship Management of a complex portfolio of SME commercial relationships, with turnover of £1m-£30m.• Emphasis on credit assessment and business development• Strong relationships maintained with customers and professionals, • HSBC representative on the One London loans panel, to consider applications for funding from start-up and small businesses

• Responsible for achievement of branch plan, management of team of 14 staff, supported by an Assistant Manager and a Premier Manager. • Management of a large business portfolio. Strong relationships built with leading local businesses and professionals, to ensure branch plan exceeded.
