Through my early 20s, I was chasing a dream of being on the track and field national team. To fund these dreams, I found a home in the restaurant industry where I instantly fell in love with the people and culture. I started as a server, and worked my way up to bartending and eventually management. I did management for close to 2 years and during that time was fortunate to have lots of leadership and management training. Track and field during the day and working during the night was my routine for close to 4 years, until I decided it was time for a change. In September 2020, I took a big jump and entered into construction. The trade I chose was to become an elevator mechanic. The reason for my change was to learn a new skill and challenge myself. I’m always open to new challenges and learning new things. An opportunity in the sales world is something that I’m hoping to find here on LinkedIn.
