Rob is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm's Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Consumer Financial Services Litigation and Securities Enforcement & Litigation Practices.Rob's practice focuses on complex commercial, securities and consumer litigation matters, including class actions, derivative actions and multidistrict litigation. He has represented corporate clients, and their officers, directors and employees, in state and federal courts across the country, as well as in numerous arbitration forums. Rob also has extensive experience in the area of ERISA litigation, and he has defended numerous class and individual ERISA claims, as well as claims brought under various states' consumer fraud statutes.Prior to joining Foley, Rob was a partner in the Chicago office of Ungaretti & Harris, LLP, where his practice focused on complex commercial and consumer litigation matters, as well as securities litigation and enforcement.Rob received his bachelor's degree (B.B.A, 1993) in finance from the University of Iowa. He received his J.D. from Chicago – Kent College of Law in 1996.Rob is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois, as well as before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third, Seventh, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.Rob is a member of the American Bar Association and its Litigation and Labor & Employment Law Sections, as well as its Securities and Class Actions/Derivatives Suits Committees.
