I lead both our UK Mid Market Restructuring and Special Situations M&A businesses. This is a combined team of c.160 professionals with a national footprint and a full service restructuring offering (ranging from assessing 3rd party (e.g. supply chain) risk, exiting non performing subsidiaries and performance improvement all the way through to business and options reviews, contingency planning and formal insolvency). I specialise in providing Accelerated Funding Solutions (refinancing and M&A) together with broader restructuring and insolvency advice. I advise a variety of key stakeholders (principally corporates, lenders and private equity sponsors) in securing optimal outcomes where some form of restructuring of a business (or constituent part) is required. Usually this is in the context of financial distress, however, I often also work for corporates who are not subject to such financial pressures, but that require a restructuring mind-set in executing a preferred exit/sale option (for example complex carve outs of either unprofitable or otherwise non-core divisions). I am a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants In England and Wales and a licensed insolvency practitioner, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. I have 22 years of financial advisory and restructuring experience working across a variety of different industry sectors.
