Joined Allied Dunbar in 1999, as an life servicing administrator. In 2001 took a role in the IT side of Zurich Financial Services (internally known as Zurich Computer Services). Here worked in procurement then on to a Complaints Manager role.2003/2004 I worked on an IT project which saw me working field based coaching advisers on how to use Zurich's new IT business submission software. In 2005 this role developed into a head office role.Joined Technical Support in 2006, learning all about tax, trusts, products etc.Became a Business Account Manager in 2011, looking after the south/south west of England, with some excellent results.In October of 2019 I was appointed Sales Team Manager, managing a team of 7 Account Managers.May 2020 saw me, and c.109 colleague move over to the Embark Group following the sale of the Zurich Platform.Then in 2022 we moved from Embark to Scottish Widows. A restructure saw me hand over the managerial reigns to a colleague and now I’m back as a a BDM, which is exactly where I want to be, speaking to Advisers, Paraplanners, Office Managers, anyone who will listen really.Specialties: Technical support, investment/pension/life policy taxation and trusts.
