Enabling customers to successfully implement and maintain Kollective's eCDN (Enterprise Content Delivery Network) solutions. The Kollective eCDN allows organizations to optimize the delivery of video and software content by leveraging P2P technologies without traditional hardware caching appliances. We support a myriad of partner integrations that is ever expanding. My duties include both pre- and post-sales responsibilities.Sales Engineer role* Introduce Kollective eCDN solutions to prospects (technical presentations) * Support sales directors through the sales lifecycle* Scope Proof of Concept (POC) projects* Complete security reviews, questionnaires, and information requests for prospects* Discover, learn, and document prospect's network topology for eCDN configuration* Recommend configurations based on discovery* Configure and test Kollective eCDN solutions within prospect environments* Analyze telemetry data of live events to identify opportunities for improvementSenior Solutions Architect role* Technical owner for named accounts in Southeast region. Managing, monitoring and troubleshooting the Pilixo platform and backend development systems is my primary role. Pilixo products are delivered to endpoints in the field connecting via internet to the cloud platform. Built to scale for the cloud, the framework supports various layers which demand expert knowledge including a RESTful webapp, noSQL DB cluster, in-memory datastore (cache), messaging, services, storage, HTML/Javascript clients, CDN, DNS, firewalls, and more… The Pilixo platform resides in AWS and I have embraced virtualization for the cloud. Automation is in my DNA, a key to being successful in my role is developing scripts to perform regular tasks and decrease human error. Implemented and maintaining our CI build servers and repositories, and taken the responsibility of branching releases from trunk for major and minor point release. Developed monitoring for the platform, applications and website (transactional and performance); and when issues are detected, investigate, isolate and remediate issues.
