CurrentResponsible for assisting with identified projects in the Transit Operations area. The two primary projects are the implementation of the selected software solution (HASTUS) to replace the current Transit Operating System Software (TOSS) and the implementation of Centralized Dispatch functions. Act as a project manager, creating goals, objectives, detailed work plans, timelines, leading project teams, and ensuring that all stakeholders are appropriately represented and involved.Undertake research and evaluation studies for work related to this position.Assists with the development of a transition and implementation plan for centralized dispatch which includes identifying staffing levels, roles and responsibilities as well as operating procedures for the use of INIT.Identify and review the effectiveness and need for legacy processes to be replaced by the new system.Assist with the transition to a centralized dispatch and implement the required operating procedures to ensure an effective and efficient 24 hour communications centre
