Experienced Senior Investor Relations Manager, working very closely with Sky's senior management (including CEO and CFO) and liaising with third party stakeholders (including shareholders and sell-side analysts). Highly strategic role working within a corporate finance team across five territories in Europe. Key point of contact for communicating with investors and sell-side analysts during the transaction and following this, ensuring the integration of the businesses is understood and appreciated by the capital markets which included the organisation of investor and analyst roadshows to Milan and Munich. During the transaction, I assisted in preparation of materials relating to:- transaction press release and strategic presentation to investors- £5 billion debt press releases and liaising with banks on due diligence - sale of minority stake in Sky Bet- sale of minority stake in National Geographic- equity placing of 9.9% of Sky's market capResponsible for Sky's quarterly results materials that are published, including the preparation and publication of interim press releases and presentations. Work closely with Sky's management and third party advisers to agree corporate messaging. I was an IR manager during the acquisition of Sky Deutschland and Sky Italia in a £7 billion deal. The IR team is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the CFO and CEO and leading interaction with investors and sell-side analysts. I support management when meeting investors at conferences, roadshows, City round table meetings etc.I am the point of contact for any news which is material, or perceived to be material, to Sky's success (e.g. Premier League auction, regulatory issues, technological developments, competitor actions).

I was Financial Controller of Acetrax AG, an international over-the-top (OTT) retailer operating in seven European countries. Sky acquired Acetrax AG to support the rollout of Sky's domestic OTT services (NOW TV, Sky Go, Sky Go Extra and Sky Store) and for an interim period post acquisition, I was part of the leadership team looking at the strategy and opportunity of expanding the geographical footprint of the acquired business. I was responsible for the overall financial performance of the business. This included the following: - implementing post acquisition controls and undertaking an internal audit - financial integration of Acetrax AG into Sky. This included streamlining AP and AR processes, creating monthly financial reporting and analysis processes - agreeing the headcount structure to support the business integration - creating weekly KPI reporting to assist management in effective decision making - renegotiating content agreements for transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) and Electronic Sell Thru (EST) - agreeing platform agreements to expand the reach of Acetrax on connected devices - appraising new opportunities to expand the geographical footprint of Acetrax - agreeing P&L and Capex funding to integrate the business, specifically investing in the technology platform to support Sky's OTT servicesI managed a team of two Financial Analysts in London and the CFO who was based in Zurich. I reported to the Head of Finance (Content) although I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the business. Following the integration of the technology OTT platform into Sky and strategic review of the Acetrax business, we decided to close the retail operations of the company. I played a key part in this process which included the following responsibilities: - forecasting and agreeing the provisions relating to closure - leading the audit process - agreeing exit payments with third parties impacted by the business closure

I worked in the Sky Movies programming finance team, providing finance support to the content acquisition, legal and scheduling teams. I had a team of two direct reports and reported to the Financial Controller of Sky Movies.During my tenure, the team achieved the following: - commercial agreement of multiple major studio multi-year rights deal - built the strategic 5YP for the NOW TV Sky Movies business model. Supported senior commercial and finance management in presentations to the Exec to acquire approval and funding for the new service - agreed Sky's £600 million target for UK content investment by 2014. Worked cross functionally with various teams across Sky to ensure this target was achievable and aligned with strategic goals. - commercial agreement of various independent distributor rights deals - acquisition of rights to support the launch of Sky Go Extra, Sky's mobile OTT product - agreement with MGM for the Bond franchise to coincide with the 50th anniversary and release of Skyfall - implementation and successful roll-out of new weekly Exec content report. This report replaced legacy reporting to ensure Sky KPI reporting in content aligned to operational targets
