I am a highly self motivated individual who loves working with others in a team environment to get the job done. i have worked in the restaurant industry as a bus boy, host, waiter, prep cook and bar back for 3 years. Then i joined the Army and peformed electrical repair of components for tanks and bradleys. i also had extensive experience in the repair of miscellaneous weapons. i was a sergeant and in charge of our section prior to my exit from the Army after 6.5 years in service and deployed to Iraq 3 times. i then worked for an aerospace company (ACSS) where i was a material handler in the recieving department, shipping department, traffic administration. i processed purchase orders and returned material authorizations (rma), packaged product, conpleted documents to ship product domestically and internationally, pick product to ship, and assist the stock room with restocks. i then became an order administrator processing customer orders, providing rma information, provide pricing, submitting orders to shipping/traffic administration, ensuring customers receive product and terms based on contractual agreements. i also worked in the information technology (IT) team while acquiring my IT degree as an intern part time. i created images of hard drives to setup new employees of the company, troubleshoot issues based on help desk tickets for employees and provided replacement hardware. After 6 years i was offered the opporunity to work for the Veterans benefits administration (VBA) in milwaukee and moved from Arizona to Wisconsin. i work for the pension management center as a veteran services representative. i work claims for veterans and family members of veterans. i have worked veterans claims, survivor claims, accrued claims, burial claims and validity of debt claims utilizing written laws, manuals, excel spreadsheets, microsoft software to write letters and calculate benefits as applicable. i was the designated trainer on my team and have recived a monetary award and a certificate for my work with the VBA in the last 5 years i have been here.
