- Leading on the inclusion, identification and development of MI / BI for key source system transitions.- Leading on the creation of a MI platform, working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders (inc. DDaT / HOCS / ODPO / DSA) and external delivery partners- Acting as the MI SPoC for the creation of several new caseworking systems- Leading on the migration of a MI platform to a cloud-hosted solution and ensuring appropriate service support in place with DDaT partners- Leading on the implementation of Microsoft Power BI alongside the Sponsor(s) and SRO- Working closely with key delivery partners to align roadmaps / plans, and to manage expectations of stakeholders- Presenting a variety of messages, plans and information to a wide range of interested parties

- Analysing performance nationally and geographically to understand the impact of targets, processes, and behaviours. Using this analysis to develop recommendations and bespoke solutions for improvement, then implementing tailored solutions – including the design and development of enabling IT tools across the business. .- Analysing complex processes and outcomes to derive strategic recommendations with national reach. Working closely with practitioners and other stakeholders to ensure that analysis is relevant and insightful, and recommended solutions are appropriate. Ensuring that recommended conceptual solutions are evidence based but reflect operational reality and are focused on performance improvement. Significant work with large and complex datasets.- Proactively identifying and engaging areas of the business that may benefit from further investigation and analysis. Specifically addressing the need to deliver more for less.- Being innovative in identifying and using data sources to analyse processes and provide insight to develop understanding of how performance could be improved.- Presenting high impact findings, ensuring the key points are understood, at a senior level, and that recommendations are accepted.- Working closely with experts outside the line management hierarchy to develop and quality assure performance management tools.- Delivering analytical and consultancy support to all operational areas.

Providing management information, statistics and IT solutions to senior management, colleagues and key stakeholders (both across the business and external) across several different work streams. Liaising with various corporate partners to build and develop relationships, identify and implement best practice and look for opportunities to improve business processes and procedures.Working closely with senior managers and Board Members across the business as well as internal and external stakeholders. Interrogating databases and providing information for published National Statistics, Parliamentary Questions and Freedom Of Information requests.Heavily involved with Business Objects and InfoView, Excel, Access, Outlook, Word and many other programmes. Business Objects Power User and nominated Business Expert. Line management of staff. Leading on a high level Data Quality review and implementation (Quality Assurance Framework) across several separate work streams. Responsible for identifying, designing and implementing business systems, processes and procedures which will eliminate wastage, improve data quality and reduce the risk for embarrassment to the department. Integral in designing and implementing the new Earned Citizenship project into UK Border Agency I.T. systems with a view to extracting all valuable management information whilst validating systems against an agreed minimum data set to ensure quality control of data input onto systems.
