Senior Interactivity Developer. While at Allen, I engineered and created a reusable and flexible Shell framework. The Shell is flexible framework that allows other developers to expand and enhance its functionality. The Shell also allows for easy LMS integration SCORM, AICC. I engineered rapid prototyping components, that easily allowed non programmers to create interactive components for prototypes as well functional mockups.I designed and wrote a QA component that allowed for text id's to be given to any piece of text content, thus increasing the speed at which courseware bugs could be fixed and content updated.I mentored and guided junior developers, enhancing their skills in Object Oriented programming techniques as well as design Patterns. As junior developer, I worked in a team to help build large course-ware for k-12 education. Two notable projects were Foundational Math and WorldView social studies curriculum.

I have always had a strong desire to teach, lead and mentor others. As a adjunct faculty member I taught various classes ranging from basic principles of design to 3d computer animation, and interactivity design. I also developed various training aids and presentations using Flash for classroom lectures as well as developing classroom projects and assignments for the students to complete.

During my enlistment in the U.S. Army I served as an elite soldier in the 2 battalion 75th Airborne Ranger Regiment out of Ft. Lewis Washington. I parachuted from C-130's in the wee morning hours. Humped a radio (carried around a really heavy backpack full of everything needed for survival plus spare batteries and high speed radio equipment) for the company commander (CO) or executive officer (XO). I was honorably discharged as a promotable rank of E4 (Army Specialist).
