Unfortunately, in September 2009 I sadly had to terminate my position as a Project Support Manager at Siemens Traffic Controls to provide full time care for my disabled daughter Maddison who has a very complex form of Spina Bifida. There were many reasons at that time as to why I made this decision, but those 3 and a half years were the most enjoyable and rewarding years of my life as they afforded me the opportunity to dedicate all my time and effort in to getting all the various medical support and support infrastructure in place that would afford my daughter the quality of life she deserved, more so than she had ever had before. This achieved, this then allowed me the opportunity to dedicate myself fully to returning back to full time employment.
