Conscientious and professional, I have recently retired from a career in the Fire Service where I was a crew manager with a wealth of experience. During my operational time I managed a team in various situations to a successful conclusion, coordinating and implementing training plans for group and individual requirements and giving lectures to personnel as part of their training requirements.In recent times, I have been involved in fire safety inspections in conjunction with the Regulatory reform (Fire Safety) order 2005.This involved visiting businesses and inspecting their fire safety arrangements and giving advice where required, and if necessary take statements and evidence bad practice for potential legal action.I am also a qualified HETAS engineer relating to the installation of solid fuel heating appliances, this involves discussing and advising clients on the best solution for the individuals needs in relation to current building regulations.Prior to my time in the Fire and Rescue service I worked in the construction industry for 13 x years.
