CurrentIT Development and Change Manager in the ICT and Digital Service, Examples of achievements are:• Providing strategic leadership on the development and support of the Council’s key In-House developed Oracle applications such as Financial Ledger, Council Tax, Business Rates and Benefits systems, enabling the Council to continue to make multi £million efficiency savings against a backdrop of severe and continuing public sector budgetary pressures. • Orchestrated the technical system delivery for the Council's Covid response, coordinating the development of new systems that facilitated the timely disbursement of over £70 million in Covid Grants to vulnerable citizens during challenging times.• Led on the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide Document Management system, enabling the Council to save £750k a year through increased document handling efficiencies.• Managed collaborative projects with the Department of Work and Pensions enabling continuous multi £million savings at local and national level through the development of Open Standards APIs for Data Sharing.• Forged excellent relationships with users and other key stakeholders through introduction of Agile software development and change management practices, enabling better prioritisation and governance of change projects.• Oversaw the end-to-end design and implementation of a new Oracle CRM system (Oracle E-Business Suite) for the Council's Contact Centre (website, telephony, and face-to-face interactions). Implemented interfaces between CRM and various Back Office Systems to optimise quality and operational efficiency.• Directed the delivery of automated interfaces between the local Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust's EPR System and the Council's Adult Social Care System. This initiative improved data sharing, increased efficiencies, and enhanced care provision for hospital discharges.
