I am currently responsible for the implementation and management of a comprehensive condition monitoring program for mechanical and electrical plant, including pumps, motors, HVAC, steam and compressed gas distribution networks and electrical distribution equipment. Utilising a variety of predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing to assess equipment health and identify potential issues and generating detailed reports and recommendations based on machine condition and communicating findings to stakeholders and providing recommendations for when intrusive maintenanceis required. Working alongside maintenance teams utilising precision maintenance technologies such as laser alignment, balancing and precision fastening. Conducting regular inspections and data collection activities on critical equipment, interpreting and analysing data to get early indication of impending defects. Maintaining condition monitoring databases, tracking equipment performance, maintenance history, and reliability metrics to support the Maintenance and Reliabilty community on site. Attending conferences and training sessions to stay up to date with new and emerging reliabilty technologies and best practices. Participate in root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures, contributing to the development of proactive maintenance strategies and reliability improvements.
