I have been exposed to a wide range of both geotechnical and environmental engineering design and interpretation. Producing, Desk Studies, Ground Condition Assessments, Specification for Earthworks Reports, Remediation Method Statements, Geohazard Impact Assessments, Remediation Verification Reports, and Ground Gas Assessments, in addition to bespoke documentation to meet more specific client briefs.To provide detailed interperetive reports ive utilised a good understanding of a range of industry specific design software, such as CADS UK Bearing Pile Designer, Reslope, Surfer (Relief and 3D ground modelling) and Auto Desk. In addition, I have been instrumental in the development and set up of inhouse templates and design tools to assist with development of shallow foundation solutions and site-specific earthwork specifications. As part of my course at the University of Portsmouth I successfully completed a placement year fulfilling a graduate geo-environmental engineer role at Soils Limited in Winchester.
