Rob Mitchell brings 25+ years of entertainment experience to Bold Films, encompassing finance, production, distribution, operations, development, and strategic planning. As CFO of Bold Films, Mitchell oversees all finance activities for the company, including its operations and production slate. Past releases include DRIVE (Ryan Gosling), NIGHTCRAWLER (Jake Gyllenhaal), NO ESCAPE (Owen Wilson), WHIPLASH (Miles Teller), and STRONGER (Jake Gyllenhaal). Film releases included PREMONITION (Sandra Bullock).Previously, Mitchell was a finance executive at Beacon Pictures, which produced box office hits AIR FORCE ONE (Harrison Ford), BRING IT ON (Kirsten Dunst), THE FAMILY MAN (Nicolas Cage), SPY GAME (Brad Pitt), THE HURRICANE (Denzel Washington), and LADDER 49 (John Travolta). He oversaw the company’s production finance activities, worldwide sales collections, corporate accounting and management reporting, as well as worked on first-look deals with Sony, Universal, and Disney.Rob began his career at The Samuel Goldwyn Company rising up to Controller, and was a key financial liaison during the company’s sale to Orion/MGM in 1997.Since 1990 he has been involved in the production, finance, and distribution of over 35 motion pictures which have grossed $2.3 Billion in worldwide box office.
