Full P/L responsibility for 18 document destruction service centers, in the Western US and Canada, totaling $29M in revenue.Led the region to first year cost reductions of $2.17M and second year reductions of an additional $1.2M, leading to a 14% improvement in underlying profit, despite a 7% reduction in revenue.Drove an 11% improvement in service quality through a performance and accountability focusLaunched employee communication and performance recognition programs which led to the highest employee survey results within the North American business.

Market sales and operations management responsibility for a growth oriented service organization. Responsible for $23M business and 120+ employees. Oversee 10 information management facilities in multi-state, multi-service line organization.Developed and executed growth strategy resulting in 35% revenue improvement in 1.5 years.President’s Award winner for sales achievements in 2005 for achieving over 140% of sales team quota.Led implementation project resulting in addition of 1,200 service points and $2M annual revenue, earning Service Leadership Award from Recall’s largest client.Developed new SOPs and standardized business rules and processes with tracking tools and communication mechanisms to support global standardization initiative.

Facilitated development and establishment of start-up, directing product development, operations planning and resource management. Designed and managed operational procedures and internal infrastructure. Developed vendor relations and supply-chain process.Oversaw technology development and prototype process, resulting in new kiosk installation within 8 weeks of project initiation, delivering revenue generating product 4 weeks ahead of schedule. Managed overall design, manufacturing, assembly, and installation of 25 machines nationwide, on time and on budget.

Executive leader and P&L owner of $10M US Government contracts division, specializing in Department of Defense and Department of Energy services. Transitioned division from a forecasted $3.1M loss in 1996 to a first quarter 1997 profit of $350k, surpassing all turnaround objectives, through aggressive reorganization. Applied LEAN methodologies and value stream mapping to substantially reduce cycle time in service and billing functions.

CHEMICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT, INC., Environmental and chemical management services division of Waste Management, Inc., a publicly traded provider of comprehensive trash and waste removal, recycling, and environmentally safe waste management services.
