I have the immense pleasure of serving my community on the Los Gatos Town Council. I serve as one of five Councilmembers and oversee the Town of Los Gatos government. I was elected in November of 2022 as the top vote getter. I spend every day working to make Los Gatos a better place.

Proudly serving Assemblymember Gail Pellerin and the people of Assembly District 28. The California State Assembly is one of two houses of the State Legislature which enacts laws for the State of California. Assembly District 28 represents more than 450,000 residents in the communities of Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Santa Cruz, Boulder Creek, Scotts Valley, the Santa Cruz Mountains, and parts of San Jose including Almaden Valley, Cambrian Park, and Willow Glen.

I was re-elected in 2023 to serve Assembly District 28 (Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties) as a California Democratic Party State Delegate. I was first elected in 2019 to serve Assembly District 35 (San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties) as one of the youngest delegates in California. Since then, I have served the California Democratic Party through attending conventions, volunteering for campaigns, and supporting Democrats throughout the state.

I was elected as the top vote-getter in Congressional District 16 to serve as a 2024 DNC Delegate. I had the immense privilege of participating in the Democratic National Convention in Chicago as a delegate and nominating Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.

The San Jose Conservation Corps is an environmentally focused youth workforce development nonprofit. SJCC serves young adults ages 17-27 who are in need of employment, support, or education. In this unique role, I worked directly under the CEO to solve problems, build relationships, and take on whatever was thrown my way. I managed our student housing program, oversaw government relationships, and explored areas for new business development. I coordinated emergency preparedness activities, oversaw campus tenants and facilities, and supervised events. Much of my work focused broadly on economic and climate resiliency. One of my proudest accomplishments was expanding of SJCC's Youth Housing Promise. This program provides transition-aged youth with affordable transitional housing in the form of tiny homes. Construction Corpsmembers build tiny homes and other Corpsmembers who are homeless or housing insecure live in them. I was also the principal planner of the first-ever statewide Conservation Corps conference, bringing together hundreds of young people from across California to lobby state legislators and share knowledge. Other accomplishments include managing various leases and contracts, navigating the federal bureaucracy to secure millions of pandemic relief dollars, and demonstrating leadership in a variety of emergency situations.

I served as the manager of SJCC's county homeless shelter where I supervised 25 employees and was responsible for 80+ homeless residents. I oversaw all operations of this shelter which was created as an emergency shelter at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds during the COVID-19 pandemic. I managed all meals, shelter security, resident comfort and safety, substance and behavioral issues, and much more. The San Jose Conservation Corps partnered with the nonprofit LifeMoves which provided case management services to residents.

For about six months I taught middle school social studies, humanities, and English. I helped instill the values of kindness and curiosity in my students.

I was responsible for program oversight and launch of the California Climate Action Corps (Americorps) fellowship at the San Jose Conservation Corps. I managed the success of 30 fellows in 9 program areas. Program areas included food sovereignty and recovery, community composting (SB 1383), policy research, outreach, and zero waste operations.

I served as a paid staff legislative intern for Congresswoman Anna Eshoo (CA-18) in her Washington, D.C. office.

I worked part-time at El Camino Homeless Shelter in San Luis Obispo County where I managed the shelter overnight, supported residents, and provided meals. I aided in case management and volunteer oversight.

I spent about 10 months interning for the United Nations Foundation where I served as a grassroots vaccine advocate on the Shot@Life Campaign. I recruited new supporters and advocates in key Congressional districts and states to join the cause. I helped these individuals meet with their Congressional and state representatives to lobby for investment in the global childhood immunization programs and global health funding generally. I supported a week-long virtual webinar that included UN senior officials and international health leaders. Shot@Life’s organizational mission is to decrease vaccine-preventable childhood deaths and give every child a shot at life no matter where they live.

For my last two years at Cal Poly, I served on the Cal Poly Foundation Board. Appointed by the University President to serve as the sole student on the board, I pushed the board to support the interests of students. The Cal Poly Foundation is the university's philanthropic fundraising non-profit organization, managing a $300 million endowment. I had the pleasure of serving alongside prominent alumni like Peter Oppenheimer of Apple. I served on the Investment Committee, the Development and Alumni Engagement Committee, and the search committee for the next CEO of the Cal Poly Foundation.

I successful led the re-election campaign for Dorsey Moore (no relation).

I led the Cal Poly College Democrats as a liaison between the club, community, and University through the facilitation of events, rallies, weekly meetings, voter registration drives, canvassing kickoffs, and fundraising events. We worked closely with local and state campaigns to help them win campaigns and elect progressive Democrats.

I served as Chair and CEO of ASI, a 501(c)3 non-profit with a $17 million annual budget and over 500 employees. As Chair of Cal Poly’s student government, I led & formulated policy for the ASI Board of Directors, a group of 24 individually elected board members. Collectively, we served as the official voice of Cal Poly students. I oversaw the passage of various pieces of legislation. This included legislation to provide aid to tenants during COVID-19, protect students in the DACA program, support student parents, transition Cal Poly to 100% recycled paper, change the campus dining system to save students money, and recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I collaborated with and advocated to the University President, various Vice Presidents, and college Deans. We also lobbied local and statewide elected officials. I served on the Academic Senate, a the Provost Search Committee, the Campus Urban Planning Committee, the University President's Leadership Council, and the Graduate Initiative 2025 Committee.

I served as the Chair of one of six ASI standing committees and oversaw a team of eight members. We marketed ASI to the broader campus and increased civic involvement among students. We oversaw campus efforts to get out the vote (GOTV) for the 2018 General Election. Cal Poly went on to win the California Secretary of State's Ballot Bowl Competiton for registering the most students to vote of any college in California.

I was elected twice to serve on the Cal Poly Student Government ASI Board of Directors for the College of Liberal Arts. I successfully passed a sustainability resolution urging campus dining to adopt a more environmentally friendly business model, which campus dining went on to adopt. I also passed a bill that streamlined ASI Student Government and I served on the Academic Senate Sustainability Committee.

I served as a district intern for Senator Bob Wieckowski.

I served as one of Congressman Salud Carbajal's lead campaign interns. I assisted in turning the 24th Congressional District from a targeted seat by the GOP to a safe Democratic seat.

I served as the field director and youth campaign manager for Measure G, an environmental ballot initiative to ban fracking and new oil drilling in San Luis Obispo County. I was involved in the drafting of the ballot measure and was a member of the campaign steering committee. I organized community members for phone banking, door knocking, texting, lit dropping, and fundraising. I managed a voter registration campaign that registered several hundred students to vote. I also collected thousands of signatures to qualify the measure for the ballot. Despite running a great campaign, fundraising over $250,000, and knocking on tens of thousands of doors, we lost because Chevron wrote a check for $8 million and crushed our grassroots efforts. This loss to corporate interests lit a fire under me and ultimately propelled me onto the political path I am on today.

I served as an intern for Assemblymember Evan Low (AD-28).

I served as a campaign coordinator and intern for Kalen Gallagher for San Jose City Council (D-9). I knocked on hundreds of doors and spoke with voters about the campaign.

Served as a teaching assistant for students in the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) pre-college program at Union Middle School.

Served as an assistant wrestling coach for 4 seasons at Union Middle School.
