Having achieved a robust customer base my responsibilities now include overseeing my customer accounts on a “cradle to grave” basis. Accordingly I was responsible for:-On site job assessment and sampling to determine the degree of hazard.Preparation of detailed quotations as well as method and risk statements and classification of all wastes.The on site management of site clearances.Scheduling of transportation and hiring of equipment to complete the tasks.Sourcing / liaising with disposal sites.Preparation of final invoices and checking all costs to ensure minimum grossmargin targets are achieved.

Responsible for:-Securing new business accounts.Increasing sales at existing accounts.On site sampling of waste streams

Appointed to start up and develop an educational division of Hallamshire Chemical Holdings Ltd., selling scientific products and chemicals throughout the North of England and the Midlands. I dealt with all aspects of the business from sales and purchasing to packing and delivering.

Dealing with sales of scientific equipment and chemicals to educational establishments and local authorities throughout the North of England and Central Scotland.

Responsible for:-Control of stock to ensure that minimum levels were adhered to.Checking of all incoming materials to ensure compliance with written procedures in respect of quantity, quality and documentation.Supervision of quarterly stock checks involving over 200 raw materials and over 1000 finished products and preparation of quarterly stock reports for the Commercial Director.Responsible for stock control and release of goods stored in third party warehouses. This also includes monitoring of goods from ships into warehouses.Regular on-site meetings with technical / sales representatives of suppliers.
