Retained as an independent contractor to develop and lead a consortium on behalf of Rogers. The international consortium is pursuing the opportunity to assume operation and modernization of Ontario’s lottery.

Member of the Board of Directors since 2005; assumed interim CEO role in fall of 2011 to lead restructuring of the association. CBSR is the leading not-for-profit organization in Canada's corporate social responsibility and sutainability movement. Currently serving as Board Chair.

Reporting to the CEO and a member of the Executive Committee. The role encompassed four core areas of accountability: issues management and the communication of all OLG strategic and operational messages to employees, media stakeholders and community partners; the facilitation and execution of the corporation’s relationship with its shareholder, the Government of Ontario; as the agency’s CMO, budget oversight over marketing activities to ensure the alignment of all OLG customer communications to support the corporation's social responsibility requirements and strategic objectives; and lastly, responsibility for the corporation’s strategic planning and business development activities. Recently led Strategic Business Review of Ontario’s lottery and gaming industry on behalf of Government of Ontario and submitted a long-term asset maximization plan to the OLG Board.

Reported to the Executive Chairman and a member of the Senior Executive Committee. Joined Loblaw to establish integrated communications platform that included leadership of Investor Relations, Media Relations, Internal Communications, Government and Public Affairs, Crisis and Issue Response, Corporate Social Responsibility and Brand Management.

Reported to the CEO and a member of the Executive Committee. Responsible for the communication of all Company activities to key stakeholders, including Investor Relations, Internal Communications, Government and Public Affairs, Media Relations, Crisis and Issue Response and Brand Management. Primary responsibility for the Company’s reputation, including protecting and enhancing brand assets to increase shareholder value. Led an international campaign to standardize supply chain audit standards and processes, among a community of global retailers facing allegations of labour abuses. Initiated, negotiated and led the Company’s successful partnership with the Canadian Olympic movement. Key member of ‘deal team’ that as a result of an unsolicited offer to purchase Hbc, led to a high profile, complex process with multiple bidders and ultimately the sale of the Company.

Reported to the CEO with responsibility for developing the Public Affairs Practice in Canada. Provided client services in the areas of: mergers and acquisitions, advocacy to government and public opinion campaigns, crisis issues preparedness and response, media training, campaign and message development, as well as spokesperson representative on behalf of clients. Key clients included: Hudson's Bay Company, Pfizer, Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, Bell Canada, Dupont and Suncor.
