Artworker/Graphic Designer - The Lion Press – Dec 2012 - Present. I am a confident and creative designer currently living in Bedford. I am self-motivated and self-sufficient with four years of experience working within the Design & Print industry where I am heavily involved in the creative design process as well as the printing side of the industry. I am well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as print processes and techniques.I studied Art & Design for three years and I have many years of additional experience working freelance as a designer during that time. I am a fast, adaptive learner with a thirst for knowledge. I am always eager to learn and expand upon my current skill set. As a hard working and ambitious individual who works well under pressure, I am comfortable managing my own time or equally happy working with customers and my peers. I have excellent communication skills, which enable me to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Prior to my work as a Graphic Designer, I was working in the catering industry within the Hospitality sector for the NHS. I had worked in the food industry for five years in a variety of roles including two years working as a Food Development Technologist for Bakkavor.I studied Graphic Design (BTEC ND), Art (A/S Level) & Photography (A Level) at Bedford College from 2000-2002.
