My Role as a Proactive Control Administrator allows me to provide excellent customer service to Thames Water internal customers by supporting operational tasks, proactively spotting and instigating action on degrading assets and emerging issues as well as providing data to assist operations in managing and maintaining Waste Water assets and ultimately preventing pollution's.My role also includes proactively monitoring the catchment, utilizing emerging technologies and processes to identify degradation of assets prior to failure and highlight for intervention.Work collaboratively with colleagues in operations to facilitate resolution of operational issues.Continually monitor the Alarm Management system (SCADA) to support the maintenance of data, identifying issues and pursuing fixes.Produce and distribute reports of a high standard to the team and the wider waste business. Work with relevant stakeholders to address issues highlighted in these reports.

-Identifying areas of sites that are most in need of maintenance.-Communicating with clients to gain an understanding of their needs and requirements so as to carry out the work in a satisfactory manner-Understanding of how long tasks will take and the most efficient way to complete them, to ensure that the schedule for the day is kept to.-To be aware of risks on any given site and follow the pre-arranged safety procedures, as well as carry out on the spot risk assessments for use of power tools and ladder placement to ensure a safe working environment.

-Answering customer inquiries, providing assistance and information about our products.-Significantly improved negotiation skills, regularly converting customers from point of enquiry to sale.-Management of irrigation systems was needed to ensure that all new and existing plants received the required amount, without over-watering.-Completion of a stock taking exercise to assess supply levels-Receive deliveries of new tree and plant stock, and preparing it for sale.
