I am a determined and competitive leader working within a talented and visionary consultancy as a Company and Senior Director. I work with fellow Company Directors and the Senior Leadership team to ensure that the aims and objectives of the business and clients are delivered. High service levels internally, and externally to clients, are very important to me.I have 35 years experience in planning and development consultancy, leading and managing parts of the business, teams and client instructions associated with negotiating major planning permissions. I am based in the SW of the UK, but I have wider national responsibilities across Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.I have previously worked for GVA (now Avision Young) and RPS Group. I have considerable experience in representing private and public sector clients as well as providing the technical planning input to developments in a wide range of sectors including mixed use regeneration projects, ports, urban extensions, energy, infrastructure, residential, education, employment/commercial and health. My experience is generally in medium to large scale projects including coordination of/input to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and acting as an expert witness at planning and other related public inquiries, including CPOs and compensation processes around CPOs.Specialties: Major developments, NSIPs/DCO, planning applications and appeals, EIA, Ports and Logistics, Business and Commercial, Residential, Health, Education, Energy and Infrastructure projects, planning expert witness.
