I have 45 years experience in the Electrical industry with majority of the time working within the Tier 1 construction sector on medium to large scale projects. Throughout my career I have gained extensive experience in the following markets: Commercial, Retail, Sports & Leisure, Mission Critical Data Centres, Defence and with special attention to design & construct Health Care projects.Over the past 3 years I have been employed as Construction Manager to manage overall operations and be responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity,quality control, and safety measures to projects within the business.I have also acted as a mentor to assist with the development of the Project Manager and their respective teams through guidance, training and feedback to strengthen their specific knowledge and skills whilst leaving room for each individual to excel in their area of expertise.My previous role as Project Manager, with more than 24 years experience, saw me deliver many successful high quality projects and I have developed an intuitive and effective approach to all aspects of project management.Having been in co-ordination based roles for more than half of my career, I have a thorough understanding of the interdependencies of contract, compliance and legislative requirements, and the need for meticulous detail in all phases of design & delivery.My strengths lie in leadership and organisation skills for the delivery of high profile , complex and critical projects, meeting tight budgets and timelines with high quality project outcomes, and exceptional client satisfaction.With strong technical skills, and a natural aptitude to lead by example, I’m able to instil a positive Work, Health and Safety culture in the project team.
