A passion for cookingI developed a passion for cooking more than 40 years ago, when at the age of 6 my mother taught me how to make apple pie. As I grew up in Canada we always had an amazing garden, we grew apples, pears, asparagus and many fruit and vegetables. I'm sure this developed my passion for good food. Since my father is a Dr. I was always educated on the benefits of eating healthy foods and avoiding junk. I also have fond memories of trips to the seaside at a young age where we picked up shell fish from the sea and cooked them over the campfire. Later in life I honed my cooking skills as executive sous chef at Nobu park Lane and in recent years as executive chef at Hilton international where I further developed my management skills. While working in Cyprus for Thanos Hotels I created a unique Greek-Japanese fusion cuisine that sparked much enthusiastic press coverage from across Europe.I have returned to Thanos hotels as executive chef and I run the kitchens at both Annabelle and Almyra hotels.I also do consultancies for new openings, specialising in Asian cuisine.
